What Joseph Hayden Does for a Living

  • Like many people who graduate law school, Mr. Hayden is one of many who does not practice law.  However, he, of course, employs his legal training in various, if not all, aspects of his life.  In lieu of practicing law, he is pursuing his entrepreneurial dream by using his legal and technological knowledge and experience to provide his clients with a rare combination of solutions from his perspective.

  • Through the auspices of Ursinet.com, Mr. Hayden provides web hosting, web design, legal consulting and other network and technical support to his clients.

  • Mr. Hayden also consults for various law firms and other kinds of companies in the New York City area.  He works in various capacities in Information Technology also known as Management Information Services (IT/MIS).  He has been doing Microsoft and Novell network administration, technology/help desk management and worked in a multitude of other IT occupations.

  • Mr. Hayden develops courses and teaches in knowledge management and computer science at two colleges.

  • Mr. Hayden obtained his Bachelor's of Arts in Political Science from the City University of New York in four years while working full time on Wall Street for a law firm at which he worked for seven years. 

  • Immediately after obtaining his BA, he began pursuing his law degree.  He graduated Brooklyn Law School in June of 1997 while starting to consult full-time in the technology field.
